<image:caption>Don’t worry—you still have options! After your visit, you may request a superbill, which is an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and will depend on your individual insurance plan. We also accept HSA and FSA cards as payment for lactation services. If you’re unsure about your options, reach out to our office and we’ll be happy to help you navigate the next steps.</image:caption>

<image:title>About - When we had our first daughter in 2011, I thought breastfeeding was supposed to be the easiest, most natural thing in the world.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Reality Though… Sydney and I faced several challenges—using a nipple shield, navigating a tongue-tie, supplementing with a supplemental nursing system, and pumping to maintain an exclusive breast milk feeding journey. It wasn’t easy, but we found our way through it together, and she weaned at 14 months. When Delaney joined our family in 2015, I knew more and felt better prepared. Even so, we faced continued weight loss, slow weight gain, supplemental pumping, use of a supplemental nursing system, and both tongue- and lip-tie concerns. With support, education, and a lot of perseverance, we made it through that journey too, and she weaned at 16 months. Those experiences changed the way I saw feeding support—and ultimately helped shape the care I provide families today.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - Benefits of Having a Nurse and IBCLC</image:title>
<image:caption>In addition to being an IBCLC, I am also a Registered Nurse with experience in Adult Critical Care, Postpartum Mother-Baby Care, NICU, and Lactation. That nursing background brings an added layer of knowledge and assessment to every consultation. Looking at both mom and baby—together as a feeding dyad and individually Understanding what is normal during the postpartum period and when something may need additional attention Knowledge of newborn development, behavior, and feeding Familiarity with normal newborn appearance, vital signs, and overall health Recognizing concerns that may need evaluation by your pediatrician, OB, or another medical provider Helping you feel confident about what is normal, what we can work through together, and when additional medical care is appropriate Having both nursing and lactation experience allows me to look at the whole picture, not just the feeding itself.</image:caption>
