FAQs

Where is your office located?

Our office is located in West Wichita at Maple and Tyler.

123 N Tyler Rd. Suite 100, Wichita, KS 67212

What happens during the visit/what should I expect?

During our first visit together, we spend time going over your intake form and what the biggest challenges have been, what you would like to work on, and your overall goal(s) for feeding your baby. Your IBCLC will observe a feeding at the breast or bottle, we will do a weighted feed (so your anxious mama brain knows how much baby received at the breast), and I will do a full oral assessment on baby. We will discuss everything we observed and go over any pictures taken during the oral assessment. We will discuss what the next steps for your and baby will be and we will answer any questions you may have. After our visit, you will receive a customized care plan within 24 hours.

Can someone come with me to the visit?

Of course! Your support person is more than welcome to join in during our consultations! It is amazing what they can pick up that you might not. Siblings are welcome (please know that depending on how the sibling is doing we may or may not be able to accomplish all of your goals for the consultation).

What do I need to do to prep for the visit?

Upon booking your appointment, you will receive access to your intake form. Please fill out the form prior to EACH of our visits together, this will help me make sure we have the most up to date information prior to our visits, leaving our important time together for working on your challenges and goals.

What do your services cost?

Office visits are as follows: $150 for initial consult, $125 for all follow-up consults, and $115 for prenatal education.

How many visits do I need?

This is very dependent on each unique mother/baby dyad. Most of our clients average around 3-4 visits to ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up visits after implementation of the care plan and after any referrals have been made and procedures have been done.

What platform is your telehealth?

Telehealth is offered through the Spruce platform. The app is free to download and it ensures all of our communication is HIPPA compliant.

You will receive an invitation to join from me prior to our meeting together.
