  • Elisabeth’s Story…

When we had our first daughter, in 2011, I thought breastfeeding was supposed to be the easiest, most natural thing in the world.

    The Reality Though…

Sydney and I faced several challenges, including needing a nipple shield, nursing through tongue-tie, supplementing via a supplemental nursing system, and pumping in order to feed her exclusively with breast milk. We survived, we bonded and made it through, and she weaned at the age of 14 months.

Our second daughter joined our family in 2015 and I braced myself for what might be in store. But because of my previous experience, as well as further educating myself, this time I knew the available options. I used a breastfeeding clinic, Delaney and I met every challenge before us! We breastfed through her continued weight loss, a lot of supplemental pumping, supplementing via a supplemental nursing system, a tongue-tie and lip-tie, and slow weight gain. We, too, survived and she weaned at 16 months of age.

So, here I am, passionate about wanting to help YOU breastfeed your baby and make your goals happen, whether they are short term or long term!

  • Kaylee’s Story…

My breastfeeding journey started off rocky...I was actually shocked to find breastfeeding difficult. Everyone told me their birth story but no one told me about the roller coaster ride of trying to feed my baby. My daughter lost quite a bit of her birth weight and struggled to gain it back, which caused me to be stressed, overwhelmed, and I just felt a lack of support. So, thinking I was in the minority with struggling, I stayed silent for 4 months.

Finally, after a continued feeling that my daughter still wasn’t feeding right, I reached out to Elisabeth. These appointments changed our breastfeeding journey for the better! I was continually amazed at my body and the connections between my daughter’s mouth and making our journey easier.

Following the joy and benefits of these appointments I decided to pursue my IBCLC so that I can help spread the messages that no one seems to tell mothers and to give the support that I lacked for months. I am excited to listen to moms in order to help find solutions to their problems while helping them build and sustain confidence in their unique journey.

I am here for you no matter what your journey may look like!

  • Amy’s Story…

My breastfeeding journey started in 2009 with the birth of my first child, Gianna. I received almost no breastfeeding support, and something I thought would just happen naturally was anything but. We went home using a nipple shield with no clue how to wean off of it, or even what a normal breastfeeding session should look like. I ended up going to a local hospital breastfeeding clinic for help and was able to continue nursing Gianna for 18 months. I was so empowered by the Lactation Consultant I worked with that I decided to pursue getting my IBCLC shortly after. I was certified in 2011 and started working in the same clinic where I had received so much help.

My second daughter, Miriam, came along in 2013 and had many of the same issues, but because of my knowledge and experience with my first, I had the tools to work through them and we continued our breastfeeding journey for two years. In December of 2014 I started staying home with both of my girls and began homeschooling my oldest in 2015. I still helped out many women in my spare time just because I have a passion for helping moms and babies find their footing and develop their own breastfeeding skills.

I had 3 more children (Cecilia in 2016, Fulton in 2019, and Myles in 2023) who I breastfed exclusively and had to overcome many challenges including supply issues, oral ties, and more. I’m currently still breastfeeding my youngest and homeschooling the rest of my kids. I am so grateful for this opportunity to work with moms and babies in a more formal setting again! I look forward to being able to help you meet your own breastfeeding goals!

  • Maggie’s Story

Hi! I'm Maggie and I am a mom to Amelia and our dog Hank, wife to Shelby, and a Registered Nurse since 2016.

I love to travel, hike, read, binge watch crime shows and I'm a sucker for a new restaurant or brewery!

Amelia was born on Valentine's day in 2023 and the ICT Lactation team was incredible as we navigated tongue, lip, and buccal ties.

I was so grateful for their help and excited about this resource that I decided to join the team!
