Where We Meet

Telehealth

Telehealth is a great option when meeting in person isn’t possible due to illness, distance, or scheduling needs. During your virtual visit, we can discuss your concerns in detail, observe a breast or bottle feeding session, and create an individualized plan to help you move forward with confidence.

In-Office

We’ve been welcoming families to our office since January 2023! Our goal is to make your visit feel comfortable, relaxed, and a little like home.

We have a variety of items available during your consultation, including nursing pillows, a comfortable furniture, diapers and wipes, bottles, toys, and pumping supplies to try. Just bring yourself and your baby—we’ll have plenty of the extras covered.

Address is: 123 N Tyler Rd, Suite 100. Wichita, KS 67209

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Your first visit is all about slowing down, looking at the whole picture, and understanding what is happening with feeding.

We’ll review your intake form, talk through your biggest concerns, and discuss your goals for feeding your baby. Your IBCLC will then:

  • Observe a breast or bottle feeding

  • Complete a weight check and weighted feed when appropriate

  • Assess latch, positioning, milk transfer, and overall feeding function

  • Complete an oral function assessment when indicated

  • Review observations and any photos taken during the assessment

  • Discuss recommendations, next steps, and answer your questions

Before you leave, we’ll make sure you understand the plan moving forward. You’ll receive a customized care plan within 24 hours with the recommendations and next steps discussed during your visit.

Our goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and supported—with a clear plan for you and your baby.
